Love Is Hell review

Hey guys!
So today on the ride to school, I finished Love Is Hell. I felt pretty sad, because I finished it. I really don't enjoy finishing books because that means it's over. That's the end. It sucks. But it's awesome because it's a new accomplishment. Anyways here's the review! Hope you enjoy it. :P

Breathe by Abbi Glines Review

Hey guys!

Guess what?! I finished Breathe! AHHH! ^_^ *deep breathe* Okay... So I'm calm right now... For this split second. Here's my review:

Book Cover:

Review:
Oh gosh. Breathe... I'm in love with it. I shed a million tears over Breathe because of the heartbreak and the happiness. Abbi Glines, you're a freaking awesome writer! Right now, you're my #1 favorite author! And I can't stop gushing over Jax and Sadie. I really wish I were Sadie right now. He's so sweet and perfect to her. Who cares about becoming famous and such. He's her true love. :P
Sadie is such an amazing, brilliant, and strong young woman. I'd be so happy if I were half as iconic as her. She's such a lucky girl. I mean she won Jax Stone's heart! :P But I totally understand why he'd fall for her. If I were I guy, I'd be with him on that one. :)
Jax Stone... *sigh* What's not to love about him? :P He's just like any ordinary guy. Only he's rich and famous. Oh and he has an amazing voice - not that I've actually heard it.
Marcus is like the best friend anyone can have! :) Too bad he got friend zoned. hehehe
Ms. Mary is so kind and she's such an amazing mother. She isn't Sadie's mom though she'd be great if she were. She's sorta like the mom Sadie never had.
Basically I'm head over heels with this book and I can't wait to go buy the actual copy that I can touch and read without my computer. Can't wait to feel the words. :D
I give this book a five out of five because as I've mentioned so many times in this book, I love it.
Rating

Does this book reach my high expectations? Oh you bet it does! My only complaint is, I wish it lasted longer. :P Having it end really broke my heart.
Would I recommend this book? And to who? Yep I would! To who? hmm... To everyone who has any feelings! :P

NaNoWriMo

Hey guys!

How many of you are participating in NaNoWriMo? I am! :D Wanna be my writing buddy? Here's my profile: http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/participants/samantha-arnold

I don't know how to change the word goal. So... yeah.. Um.. I've only started so I'm a bit behind. I'm hopping I can get back on track soon! My book currently doesn't have a name! D: I need one. So if you read my synopsis or excerpt could you be a dear and suggest a name if you think of one? If you want I can post the excerpt or synopsis (summary) here. Just ask and I'll do that! :)

That's all that I can think of for now... See ya soon!

P.S. A book review of Breathe by Abbi Glines is coming up soon! :)

Art

Hey guys!

Here are my new drawings that I drew on using my Wacom drawing tablet. It's not really that good (to my
opinion). I still need more practice. The last drawing is my favorite and the first is my least favorite.

So what do you guys think? Tell me please. I could really use some criticism. Follow me on DeviantArt here. I also take pictures, you'll see them there. Follow me on tumblr here. And follow me on pinterest here.

Bye!

Halloween

Hey guys!

There are only 4 more days till halloween! YAY! :D I'm sooo excited. hehe Halloween's my favorite holiday.  Do you guys like Halloween? Do you guys celebrate it? If you do, what're you guys gonna dress as? And are you going trick or treating? Is your school going to celebrate it?

I'm going to dress as Red Riding Hood. I was going to be Snow White from Snow White and the Huntsman, but I couldn't get the costume. :( There weren't anything good here, so I just got a red and black cloak thing and a black dress. I'm just going to use the red side of the cloak. My dress isn't the best, but it was all I could find. I'm going to wear red lipstick and some blush. In my school, the students and some teachers are all dressing up. I'm not sure about this, but we might have a school dance. :)

After school, my friends and I are going trick or treating. Though plans can always change. I just hope it's a good day. :)

That's it for now! See you in a bit!

Of Mice And Men Review

Hey guys! So for English class I had to read Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, so here's my review for it.
Book Cover:
Review:
I really didn't enjoy this story. I found it boring in the beginning and the rest of the way through. But that's not the only reason that I didn't enjoy this. I found that it had a rotten ending. I hated it.
No matter how much I disliked the story, the characters were actually really interesting. And I understand the reason it's so hard on them since it took place during the great depression. So, the main characters names are Lennie and George.
Lennie is so sweet. I think that he has a real child-like innocence and I feel horrible for him. He was really improving in remembering what to do and such, but I felt that his control over his strength seemed to be slipping more and more. As his memory grew stronger, his basic control (I suppose... I'm not so sure what  to call it) decreased. He just doesn't understand! Lennie is so big and strong. No wonder everyone would want him on the ranch!
George... He's like the opposite of Lennie. He's smart and such. He's also a small, tiny person. Not the best person that you'd want as a worker on your ranch. After what happened too Lennie, George just basically gave up on everything! I feel like he just went like, "who cares anymore?! Lennie's gone it doesn't matter. The dream's over." He just slipped. He fell. And he had no one to lean on anymore.
It was great to have Lennie and George together, because they had a wonderful relationship. They helped each other in ways no one would think. Lennie leaned on George. So George was like his father/boss/mentor. George could lean on Lennie. Lennie was the reason they got the jobs (because of his strength) and it also stops him from being so lonely. Also, Lennie is just like his rock. He stops him from going around wasting all their money on cathouses and bars and such.
Yes John Steinbeck is a great writer and did a great job on this. However I just didn't enjoy the ending and the story. The characters were brilliant. And he was really true to the time and place and such. Also he used really simple words so it was easy to read. It's just that what happened didn't really please me. :/ That's why I'm giving this book a 2 not a 3. It's still a great story, it's just not my type.

Just stuff...

Hey guys!

So, yesterday I tried waxing my legs for the first time and it didn't really hurt. Well, of course it did hurt, it just didn't hurt as badly as I expected it to. I'm used to shaving you see. I only did one leg. I didn't go to some fancy salon or anything, I just simply did it myself with some that my mom bought. So, yeah. My leg is a bit reddish now. But like it toned down since last night. And tomorrow I have to go to school with my shorts because we have PE and I'm like "No! Everyone's gonna see my awful leg that looks like it's just been to war (<- speaking sarcastically)!" So basically I'm hoping that it'll basically disappear... Do you guys do any of that hair-removal stuff? If so do you use wax or shaving?! :P I know.. This is sorta awkard...ish... I don't know why I'm even posting this! Super duper sorry guys! Please forgive me! And answer those questions in the comments! Also, if you guys know anything that could tone down the redness? But of course you don't need to reply. It's optional. Um... Since it was my first time, there was still some annoying stickiness stuck behind. I tried so many things to get rid of it and I couldn't! I jumped into the shower immediately and tried to wash it off but it wouldn't come off. :P After I got dressed and tried some more silly things, I thought. "Hmm... Maybe it's like gum being stuck to your hair..." So I immediately thought of oil and peanut butter. Those two do wonders if you have gum stuck to your hair. Since I absolutely hate peanut butter, I chose to use oil. I didn't even have peanut butter so it didn't matter. :P I ran to the kitchen and took a tiny tiny bit of oil and rubbed it on the sticky spots. Honestly, not even a teaspoon! I just dabbed the oil with my finger and rubbed my figure on the sticky spots. Then I put away the oil and ran back to my bathroom and washed it off with water. And yes! It worked! It was awesome! I was so astonished! So if you ever need to get stickiness stuff off of you, remember oil! I really don't know about peanut butter, since I've never used that before I just heard about it. So yeah... Oh and please do answer the question up on top! I highlighted it in case you have trouble looking for it if you had forgotten what they were. x)

Sorry for the awkwardness and not posting in a long time! I'll be posting more now! I promise you! Did promise last time? I don't know. If so that's the last promise I break for you guys! See ya soon!

Yours truely,
~Sammy

Tiffany Alvord

Tiffany!
Hey guys!

I know, I've been out for a long long time. So I thought I'd come back and post something. I decided on dedicating this post on someone who inspires me a ton. Tiffany Alvord! :)

So, she's the reason that I've decided that I wanted to post videos on YouTube, which I know I haven't actually done yet. I just don't have a camera. :/ She's the reason I started taking my music more seriously. Taylor Swift is a major part of that, but when I first saw Tiffany, I was like "Wow! I should do that! She's amazing!" So, yeah she inspired me with that. Also, she's just so pretty and thin and stuff so she's really inspiring me with my fitness too.

For those of you who don't know Tiffany Alvord, I suggest you go check her out. Here's her YouTube account. And here's her official website. Don't forget to buy her music on iTunes! So, she's an amazing unsigned singer-songwriter. She's beautiful with grey eyes, pale skin, and long, straight, brown hair. She writes love songs. Her inspiration is her life experiences and what she wishes would happen to her. She also plays keyboard, ukulele, and guitar. She goes on tour sometimes too.

Okay, that's all I have time for. Sorry for it being so short. Maybe I'll write a longer one someday. But I gotta go now. See ya!

Update

Hey guys!

I went and did a little shopping today! Yay! I got new books for tomorrow. So, there is definitely gonna be an IMM. So keep close tomorrow and you'll see what I've got, cause you know I'll right a review on it. Umm... I bought a bunch of school supplies, swimming stuff, and 2 sketch books! So more art.

My shipment from moving still hasn't arrived - that sucks. But when it does, I'll have more books that I haven't read yet of course, but the main thing is that I'll have my measuring stuff! What? Why on Earth would that be more important than books? Well, I'll tell you. I'm making a portfolio on NEXT models! Yay!!!!! I'm soooo excited. So, if they like me - and that's only an if - then I'll become a model! I'm super duper incredibly superbly excited. AHHHH!!!!! I am literally squelling/screaming my head off and jumping up and down in my chair right now at the thought of it. I might get up and start dancing. Who knows? I hope the neighbors know that I'm just excited not that a murderer just stepped foot in my house and is trying to kill me. :/ That would be awful. Well, back to the topic, I'm gonna be a model! Okay, maybe not. But it's a huge ginormous chance right now and please be supportive or encouraging or at least on  my side. My bro is totally completely against me. :( He's like they're not gonna like you. You're too fat. The risks off you not getting it is really high and you're just gonna get crushed. In my head I'm just like "Stop it! Make it stop!" and sobbing, because he has no idea how much he is crushing my heart, spirit, and dream. I don't know how to deal with him and I just wish he was more supportive. So I really don't need or want any more negativity in my decision to make a portfolio. My parents are willing to take a leap of faith for this decision. Why can't he? :( I know I must sound so self-centered and stuff, but you have to understand. Well, you don't have to but it would be nice if you don't. Okay that's it about me complaining and stuff.

Next topic, I'm joining the choir! In school that is. This is gonna be so fun. My mom says it'll really help my voice if I wanna become a singer. So if you out there what to be one too I suggest you join a choir or get your voice out there! Sing in competitions, karaoke, school plays, anything! Just try try try! And don't let that negativity pull you down. There will be times when you just can't ignore it or fight anymore and it'll pull you to your knees and make you cry, but I'll be there for you. You can cry on my shoulder. I'll be strong for you when you can't. Just tell me if you need me. :) And this goes to everything. To all dreams. I have your back even if you may not have mine, because everyone deserves a chance.

That's it for now. See ya!

Excuses, excuses...

Hey guys!

Sorry, I've been away for quite some time. I started school last week so I'm incredibly busy at the moment. But I'm back now. Yay! This post is called 'Excuses, excuses...' because I feel like I'm just making up a bunch of excuses to feed you guys, but I'm not! Please believe me. I beg of you. I keep saying, it's school, it's vacation, it's my parents - did I ever actually say that? whatever -, I'm reading, I'm drawing, etc. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm too lazy? Well, now it's true! I'm seriously too busy because the school year started. You guys believe me right? Please say something! Bare with me. Thank you. I have so much to say and stuff, but I need go before my mom comes and kills me for not being in bed. ~ Meant in a figurative way not literal.

New-ish books

Hey guys!

Okay, I should so do this in IMM, but one won't be here anymore by Monday and the others are oldish. :P I got them a few weeks ago and am gonna read them now! Yay! hahaha.

The first one (library book) won't be here any more and I'll finish it tonight! It's called Fairest by Gail Carson Levine. I think I'll have the review up tomorrow, but maybe not because I'm going on a tour of Bangalore/Bangaluru and then having a picnic for lunch. xD Love picnics!

The others that I've had for a while are:
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • Alice In Wonderland
  • The Secret Garden
  • Through The Looking Glass
All wonderful and beautiful historical beauties. :) Can't wait to read, finish, and write reviews for them! Woo hoo!

My Soul To Take Review

Hey guys!
Like I said in the review for The City of Bones, I finished My Soul To Take! Yay! Hahaha. Well, here is the review that  I promised to you. Wait... Did I promise? No, I didn't. So, here's the review I told you about. ;)

Book Cover:

Review:
This book was thrilling and exciting. It introduced a new kind of creature. Well at least I've never heard of them. :) They're called... bean sidhes! Cool huh? Wanna know they do or are like? Well you gotta read this series. Hahaha. I'm not gonna spill the beans.

Kaylee (love that name hehe) is so strong. Having that scream itching it's way up her throat and trying to force it out of her must be so hard to contain. Yet, she does somehow. And seeing those. Those.... Things. How does she bare it?! It's freaky! And she is so forgiving. With what her dad has done to her. Yeah, I'd probably forgive him too. And that awful guilt she must feel. The guilt of letting those people die. Now, to add the blame of her mother's death to that gut renching guilt of the rest could just destroy you. But she survives. Of course everyone denies that it is her fault. She still can't help but blame herself. I feel awful for her. Then again she is the typical YA heroine. Sassy, strong, brave, and with an awful tragic past. Plus a ton of guilt and blame.

Nash. Oh Nash. How I fall for you. hehehe. Who wouldn't? Just read the book and you'd understand. Nash the wonderful. Nash the understanding. Nash the brave. Nash the best! OK, OK. I just made all that up. But seriously, all those words describe him. I'm not joking! He's perfect! He's wonderful. He's the typical male lead in a YA book.

Aiden. You are soooo right! You shouldn't have ever, EVER abandoned Kaylee! How dare you?! You had 16 years to make it all right. SIXTEEN! But the only reason you chose now was because Aunt Val forced you to. How could you?! What kind of father are you?! Why on EARTH would you do that?! Good heavens you're so.... so.... Ugh! Gosh. Why? Why'd you think like that? *sobbing/begging* Why'd you leave her? She was your miracle. You said so yourself. You practically just threw away her mom and your wife's sacrifice. Why? Why?

*sniffs and wipes away tears* Well, as you can see from my little dramatic breakdown ^up there^, I loved it a lot. Maybe too much. No, there's no such thing as too much love. Never ever ever. Good job  Rachel Vincent. That is all have to say to you. Good job.

Rating
Did this book meet my high expectations? Yes it did. Actually, I didn't know what to expect from this book. I had absolutely no idea. But it was great. ^_^
Would I recommend this and to who? Yes I would. Like Kirkus Reviews said, Twilight fans will love this. Um... So aside for Twilight fans, I'd say romance, paranormal, and YA fans. Hm... that seems to be who most of my recommendations are for. I'll be fixing that soon. I promise. :)

That's it for now. Good reading! hehe. Never said that before. :P

The City of Bones Review

Hey guys! I finished The City of Bones a few days ago, but am writing this now! Yay! hahaha. Sadly, I don't have the next book with me to read at the moment. :( And I just finished reading My Soul to Take. That review is coming right after I finish writing this and that. I'll have to read my e-books for now then.

Book Cover:

Review:
This is a brilliant world to slip into and explore. It's cool and amazing. It has several twists. I love the motorcycles. I wish I had one for the night. Hehe. Especially if it comes with Jace. It's a package deal. ;) OK, enough about my little fantasy. There was one part where they mentioned Abbadon. I was like Oh. My. Gosh. Because Jack Force from Blue Bloods was Abbadon, so that got my little worlds to get mixed and stuff and I was like ahhh! So back to reality/the book, it's just great.

The little twist between Clary and Jace really pissed me off! Why?! Why?! Don't worry, I won't tell you guys what it is. You have to read it to find out. My lips are sealed. hehe. Trust me if  you are a fan of Clary and Jace you'll be just as disappointed and mad. Why'd Valentine have to ruin it! I still don't believe Valentine. I'll need Jocelyn to prove it. Even then I won't be too sure. Maybe they'll convince me in the next installment.

I always knew that Luke was a good guy, which I had him as my uncle-ish person. :P Though, I would never guess that he is that. Now Hodge. Boy, he sure is full of surprises, hey? I wouldn't want him to be my uncle-ish person. I would be so mad. In the beginning I'd be fine, but the end gosh I'd want to kill him. Hahaha. Don't worry, I'm not going crazy murderer on you guys or anything. ;)

When I was reading about Magnus Bane and Alec, I wanted to laugh so bad but couldn't. I don't find anything wrong with them or anything. It's just funny about how they acted. Like here (little teaser :D): He dropped a glittery wink at Alec, who looked astounded. "Call me?" I just think that that was funny. I think Jace figured it out, but has kept his mouth shut. If not, man he must be blinded. xD

Cassandra Clare has great narrative skills. The story was told wonderfully. Her word choice was great. It wasn't too simple like a children book. Nor was it too complicated like... A dictionary? :P OK, OK. Like... Shakespear? I can't really think of any... It was somewhere in the middle and it sounded totally natural. Good job Cassandra!

Rating
Did this book meet my high expectations? I met a great deal of it, though it could be better which is why it is only 4 stars not 5. I really wish she hadn't made that little twist between Jace and Clary.
Would I recommend this book and to who? Yep. I would. Just to who? I'm not so sure. I guess just anyone who loves YA. Be prepared for a huge twist though. That really could piss you off and just make you not want to read any further, but just stick with us okay? :)

Alright. Bye!

Teaser Tuesday #3

Hey guys! :D

I'm back with another teaser! Yay! Hehehe. I was supposed to do an In My Mailbox yesterday, but I didn't get anything so I couldn't do one.
Here is what you do:

· Grab your current read

· Open to a random page

· Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

· BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

· Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

"I nodded but wasn't sure that I actually could. My head rang with the echo of screams unvoiced, my legs wobbled, and my free hand grasped the air. A soft, high-pitched mewling leaked from me now, the song seeping through my imperfectly sealed lips. And with it came a familiar darkness, that odd gray filter overlaying my vision. The world felt like it was closing in on me, while something else-anomalous forms and a world no one else could see-seemed to unfold before my eyes."
"He's just trying to make me look like an idiot," the reaper snapped. "But I have stories that make him look even worse, so keep that in mind, soul snatcher, next time you go shooting off your mouth."
~ My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent
Okay, that's it. Hope you enjoy My Soul to Take if you decide to read it. :)

Shelf Candy #2

This is Shelf Candy! A weekly meme hosted by Five Alarm Book Reviews. Click here for the rules and how you can participate. :)
Every week I will be posting a fun cover of a book. Some I may have read. Others I haven't.

Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink

I think that the cover is great for the book. It goes perfectly along with the story. The era is correct, the way the sisters look is great (the eyes are really perfect), and the font works. I also like how they put the praise at the bottom in just that black thing so it's not in the way of the cover photography.

Summery:
An ancient prophecy divides two sisters-

One good...

One evil...

Who will prevail?

Twin sisters Lia and Alice Milthorpe have just become orphans. They have also become enemies. As they discover their roles in a prophecy that has turned generations of sisters against each other, the girls find themselves entangled in a mystery that involves a tattoo-like mark, their parents' deaths, a boy, a book, and a lifetime of secrets.

Lia and Alice don't know whom they can trust.

They just know they can't trust each other.

IMM #2

Hey guys! I haven't done this in like forever (okay, just a few months). :) Anyways here it is! :)

So, I bought the book My Soul To Take by Rachel Vincent yesterday. It is the first book in the Soul Screamers series. I can't wait to read it. There would be more, but I just moved so I didn't get to buy many books... Sorry.

Shelf Candy #1

This is Shelf Candy! A weekly meme hosted by Five Alarm Book Reviews. Click here for the rules and how you can participate. :)
Every week I will be posting a fun cover of a book. Some I may have read. Others I haven't.
I was supposed to do this yesterday but I didn't so I'm doing it today! :P Now, to the CANDY! xD

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I think the cover is really cool how they have the man just standing there over the city. You can tell it's one of the characters (for those who haven't read the book yet, I won't say who it is). It helps those without that good of an imagination figure out what the character is supposed to look like. I just think the whole cover is cool.

Summery:

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder -- much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know. . . .

The Goddess Test Review

Hey guys! I finished reading The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter last night and so here's my review! :) Of course, now I want the next book in the series. I'm just dieing to read what's next, but I can't get it yet. At least I have time to read other books for now. At the moment I am currently reading The City of Bones. Glad I can finally read this. :P Oh and I finished The Van Alen Legacy! Yay! hehe >.<

Book Cover:

Review:
This book was so interesting and fun. It made me want to study Greek mythology again, not that I ever stopped wanting to. It just boosted my love for Greek mythology. It even caused me to gain a  new favorite god! Hades! It used to be Zeus, then Poseidon, and now Hades. Haha the main three! :P I used to absolutely hate Hades, but then I started to like him and now look what's happened! He just bumped up to #1 on my favorite gods and goddesses lists. Woo hoo! You go Hades! hahaha.

I would've never guessed what the 7 tests were. I had absolutely no idea. Kate is so smart to be able to figure it out. Henry is so brave to tell her what one of them are - don't worry, my lips are sealed! Just telling her could've ruined everything. Then again not telling her could've caused her to fail... So, I guess he did the right thing by telling her! :P Man, there are so many risks.

It's a good thing that the council decided to remain hidden and blend in until she finished the tests or she would've freaked right there on the spot in front of everyone. Well, she may not have freaked. Okay, she probably would've since she was already so nervous and forgot to breathe when she was at the door!

Kate is so kind and brave. I mean, gosh. How could she not break down? First her mom is dieing. Then she witnesses the death of Ava and her coming back to life, find out she is supposed to try to take Persephone's place, having to say goodbye to her good friend James, then to have Ava die again and said to not be able to come back to life, then meeting Ava at Eden Manor, then the murder that there was, trying to pass the tests, dieing, coming back to life, saying goodbye to her mom, facing the council (the 14 main Greek gods and goddesses), and several other things! How is it she is still going! She really sure does push herself to the limit. She is so strong to be able to do that!

Calliope.. Wow. Just wow. She sure is full of surprises, isn't she? I wasn't sure what she was. Was she a muse or just some poor girl who died? The reason for my confusion is that Calliope is the name of a muse. The muse's domain is epic poetry. Now, it's silly of me to think that but I just love muses so much that when I read her name I got all excited hoping she was a muse. They never did talk about muses in there so I decided she was just a dead human somewhere along the road. She sure is smart like the muse. Calliope, the muse, is supposed to be the smartest of the muses.

The fact that she knew everyone who was on the council really bugged me. Especially who Demeter, Aphrodite, and Hera were. But it was alright I suppose. I'm surprised she could figure out who Hades and Demeter were. It was kinda obvious who Poseidon and Zeus were. After hearing what Aphrodite said about whether or not she passed Aphrodite's test, I'm surprised Kate still didn't know that she was Aphrodite.

Did this book reach my high expectations? Yeah. It did great. There are flaws though, but it was still an excellent story.

Would I recommend this book and to who? Sure I would. I'd recommend it to people who enjoy reading about Greek mythology, YA books, and romance.

Alright! Bye!

Inkspell Review

Hey guys! I finished Inkspell sometime in June, but I didn't write the review because I was too lazy to. I wanted to write it, but I was too lazy to actually do it. :P I don't have Inkdeath just yet, but I'd love to read it soon.

Book Cover:

Review:
Inkspell is such a fun and sad story. There's a lot of death in it, because there is a battle. Cornelia did great in writing this and keeping the characters true to who they are, although Mo had changed a bit but that is part of the plot. There are truely some sad parts. I even cried because of some of it.

What angers me in this books, is how Farid makes Maggie do all these things that she knows she shouldn't do. It also angers me how Fenoglio makes such silly decisions and makes Maggie read things she knows she shouldn't. However that is life. People make silly decisions upon silly reasons. They make others do things that could hurt them emotionally or physically because of their wants.

Cornelia was so smart in making a story within a story. How creative?! Especially since they actually enter the story rather than simply tell it. Cool, right? I wish I could enter a story and see it through my own eyes, not just slipping into the character's skin.

Maggie has such a kind heart that she couldn't dare hurt Farid or Fenoglio and I feel like they use that against her. But then again it is also her arrogance that caused her to enter the story in the first place. But still, Fenoglio and Farid shouldn't ask her to do those things. They knew for sure that she would say yes, becuase of how kind she is. I feel bad that she has to go through all that pain. It isn't just homesickness. It is also the terror and injuries that are happening to her and her love ones.

Mortimer (Mo) is so brave. The way he battles. It seems like it could be his passion though we all know it isn't. His passion is bookbinding. After all he is the "book doctor". No one has ever seen him like he is there.

The previous book in the series was made a movie and so I wonder, why isn't this one? It should be! It would be wonderful to watch this. Though nothing is as good as one's imagination. Even with that said, it would still be cool to watch this as a movie. What went wrong? Did something bad happen to Inkheart the movie? Were there just too many bad remarks that made them not want to make the sequel? It's a shame that the other one hasn't been made. I hope it does sometime in the near future.

Masquerade Review

Hey guys! I finished reading Masquerade and Revelations awhile ago and am now on The Van Alen Legacy. And I'm almost done with that too! I'm addicted to the Blue Bloods series! I didn't get around to writing the review for Masquerade or Revelations because of moving, but since I've already moved and am now just waiting for the boxes to come so I'm writing the reviews now. :) I hear that the graphic novel is being made for Blue Bloods too! Yay!

Book Cover:

Review:
Masquerade was an amazing addition to the Blue Bloods series. It's absolutely wonderful. It keeps you guessing and waiting with some mysteries. Here Schuyler finds out she has new cool abilities that she had no idea she could do, there's a new blue blood, and a lot of trouble (as usual).

Melissa de la Cruz. I gotta thank you for creating this group of vampires. Go Blue Bloods! hehe Oh and wonderful love triangle Melissa. Team Jack all the way! :P Seriously love the ball and party! It was wonderfully written. Also, her description of the art in Venice was wonderful. Melissa obviously knows quite a lot about fashion. This series has actually inspired me to work harder on becoming a model. I really admire Melissa now.

The ideas Melissa has come up with are amazing for these stories, like everything that has happened and how Lawrence is a rare breed of the Blue Bloods. Lawrence some how seems to me like a wonderful grandfather - though not the best, but wonderful (do I say the word 'wonderful' a lot?) still.

Schuyler is so lucky to have a mother like Allegra - not because she is in a coma, but because she is Gabrielle, the Uncorrupted! One of the two archangels who came down from heaven of her own will.  Also, her mother still looks out for her even if she's only in a coma. Schuyler is a lot of what I assume Allegra would be like. Strong, brave, understanding, beautiful, talented, and a million other wonderful traits.

Mimi makes me so mad. Gosh, I know she's always been bonded with Jack in other cycles, but can't she just allow Schuyler to be with him this one time?! Or allow them to at least hang out?! So not fair! However, she is Azrael, the Angle of Death, so they ought to be careful.

Jack. Oh Jack. Why can't you just tell Mimi that you don't love her like that? Why aren't you brave enough to be with Schuyler? You're so in love with her and yet you won't leave Mimi. I understand that she's your bond mate, but really? You can bond with her later. Stay with Schuyler for now! I mean, you're Abbadon! The Angel of Destruction! What have you to fear?! Mimi?! I think not! She loves you too much to hurt you. She'll hurt Schuyler and you know it! Just be a man and stand up to her!

Okay. I needa calm down. I'm getting too worked up. So all together I loved this story. It was amazing.

Did this meet my high expectations? Of course it did! This should be a movie! And of course I'd like to star as Schuyler hehehe. But I most likely wouldn't and there are plenty of others who could play her (probably far far better than I could, after all they are actresses, but I wanna be one too!).
Would I recommend this book and to who? Yes I would. I'd recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading a fun YA novel. Or anything paranormal or romantic or myserious.

That's it! Hope you guys read the series! Bye!
